12.76 kWp PV system for family house. High usage optimized with battery and bidirectional meter cabinet installation.
REQUIREMENT
A single-family home with high electricity consumption required an efficient photovoltaic solution. The goal was to ensure the system would cover most of the household's needs while offering the highest possible return on investment. Central to this was the integration of key components like a battery system and a modern meter cabinet (Zählerschrank).
TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION
The photovoltaic modules were mounted on two roof surfaces with east-west orientation, ideal for continuous daily power generation in family homes. Cable routing was implemented via an aluminum conduit along the exterior wall leading into the basement. A new meter cabinet was installed to accommodate the utility provider’s bidirectional meter, which enables energy feed-in and grid access — a crucial aspect of modern energy management.
