14.4 kWp PV system with glass-glass panels & heat pump retrofit in a terraced house. Year-round performance with south & north roof coverage.

  • Requirements

Energy Retrofit of a Terraced House with PV and Heat Pump
: The goal was to modernize a terraced house with a photovoltaic system combined with a heat pump. To ensure high energy yields even during the winter months, both roof sides – south and north – were equipped with solar panels. This dual orientation ensures a stable energy supply for the heat pump throughout the year.

Premium PV Components & Space-Efficient Integration.
High-quality full-black glass-glass modules with enhanced fire protection class were installed. These allow for closer installation to the property line – ideal for semi-detached or terraced houses. Cabling was routed through the existing utility shaft into the basement, where the SMA hybrid inverter and the BYD battery storage unit were installed near the meter cabinet for optimal efficiency.
